So I just had my moment of realization that I use to take help or suggestions as an attack on my ego, and I would lash out or shut others down for wanting to help us. I would then pray for more understanding, friends, and tribe, and then when we got them, I would push them away for thinking the thought they may know more than I knew of ourselves.

Loneliness is our addiction; we get drunk or high because the outside world said says, "you're too much," or “you’re not enough”, while our inside world is dealt the burden of sadness, and so mentally escaping keeps our emotions busy. One does not have to think or even try in this world.

I am thinking of a moment when I didn't know the truth of our being is simply a state of allowed presence. We dress in the accessories of societies that command how to talk, walk, dress, be. How can one tell who I am if I cannot tell who I am to me? . . . How can someone else tell me how to be more of me if I do not even see them? Void expressions of reflections, like a glance in a mirror, glaring back with a bright smile & familiar face, and then you hear a familiar name.
